cannot see killing blow message?

I have decal on while in game. When I kill it manually, I could see the killing blow message like : "You smite drudge lurker!"
But when I turn on macro and it doesn't show kill message at all so what can I do? :?:


Another question relate to vtank loot profile. You create vertical line by using alt + 0124? like | for adding multiple names in 1 setting? like Pyreal Mote|Pyreal Nugget| and so on.

I do a | by pressing shift and the \ key. The vertical line is also known as a pipe. The death message is most likely being eaten by a plugin. Without knowing what plugins you're running, we have no way of helping you with that issue.

I had this same thing happen when I installed the Virindi bundle. After some research, found out that it was coming from vtank. I lived with it.

Later on, I installed another plugin called Buff Me. Somehow, that brought the kill messages back. Think it had to do with the tracking feature that Buff Me offered. I don't use it for tracking, only buffing, but have it activated nonetheless as it doesn't hurt and brought back the killing blow messages.

BuffMe was last updated 12/19/2006 Version 0.1.8.2

It does not have new spellID's for level 8s or the new Item Aura spells.

It will also decrease your framerate drastically while in use.

Vtank requires no setup to buff, it automatically reads your characters skills and spellbook and buffs with the highest level spell possible (based on buffed magic skill)

You can change what level spells Vtank casts, or make it attempt casting before it reaches the default skill required.

Not worried about buff or spells. :)

I'm worried about killing blow message. The reason he mention Buff Me because it spams killing blow message which vtank fail to provide that. I would use it but it lags like hell so i uninstalled it.

Still have not find out how to fix/unfilter killing blow for vtank?

This is me, enemysight on VT.

Like Hells said, you can use vtank for buffing perfectly fine.

You do not need to use Buff Me, just have it installed and it will show the killing blows messages.

VTank filtering kill messages is an artifact of old debugging. I never changed it because the game's filtering doesn't work for kill messages, and I hated having them in the main chat window. In the next version I am addressing this by adding a preset to VCS and removing filtering of kill messages by VTank.
