Mag tools auto buy/sell

Havering issues with this function.
Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Works on some chars and not others, or some npc's and not others.
Example the Mage in shoushi, my one account it works fine but all my other ones it doesn't??
Does anyone have any idea what's going on or had issues with this themselves?
