Also they shouldn't be intrusive, just 1 ad under the first post in a thread.

Hah! I was thinking "It sure takes Google a long time to approve a site", but then I realized that I hadn't excluded immortalbob.com from my AdBlock.
Be nice to Bob, folks. If you're not seeing the ads, check your adblocker and add an exclusion for this site. It's a small price to pay for all the resources available here.
