There's nothing that says a war mage can't be effective in the Gauntlet. Those monsters that are invulnerable to physical damage (Shadows, Burun, and Tuskers) are just as invulnerable to war magic, but a war mage can just use hecatombs and tugaks against them the same way an archer does. I find it doesn't reliably launch the first of my six accounts. It hangs at 5/6 and keeps trying at progressively longer intervals to launch it. It happens at least half the time I try to launch my accounts with it.

I agree with DM. I actually went back to using Drakier's launcher (old faithful), which is more time-consuming to use but is completely reliable.

Why not just use DITs? It saves time and it isn't like they're hard to acquire.

With colo rings, you'd have to recall to colo, hand in the ring, then portal recall and run back to the gauntlet. That's after adjusting the meta to support that. Why bother?

It just reminded me how difficult it is sometimes to manage the monster lists of a whole army. The only solution I can think of is to learn the file format of the vtank profile files and edit them in a text editor.

I find that things tend to die rather quickly, so I've never noticed a mismatch between the critter color and the ammo my archers use. I wish there was a way to set truly global settings for vtank for situations like this. I don't relish having to manually copy/paste all those strings into the monst...

Does vtank not auto-select the right damage types for you all?

To my knowledge, I've never had an issue with it not pulling the right element in the Hoshino area.
